Good evening Premier Moe.
I want to thank you for the time and effort you commit to doing your job as our Premier.
Considering the present political climate and the manner in which the Federal Government conducts itself, it is imperative that you consider what you may need to do in order to protect the residents of Saskatchewan from an evil which is imposed upon us by the federal system we live in. You cannot stop the Liberal Government from bringing in such legislation as Bill C9 and other Bills which remove and restrict our civil rights. That is beyond your control. You can and must consider what options you have to protect Saskatchewan and its residents from becoming criminals for such things as reading the Bible. If you cannot remove the problem which is afflicting your residents, you need to be willing to remove your residents from the problem. When that day comes, and it may be here very soon, you will be faced with taking what I believe will be the only course of action open to you. You must consider now that Sovereignty is that option.
There are many fiscal and economic considerations to be made in the argument for Sovereignty, and they are all important. However, if I may quote scripture, "What does it profit a man to gain the whole world if he loses his soul?" (Matthew 16:26). We could be the wealthiest most prosperous place to live in the whole world but if we are not free citizens, what use is that? If free speech and free thought are not available to us what good is wealth? You as our Premier should be protecting the residents of Saskatchewan from the loss of our freedoms. This is your responsibility. You must consider Sovereignty as an option to do this.
Mr. Sylvester in Alberta makes an excellent argument for sovereignty on many different levels, and we need to listen to them. Sovereignty will come to Alberta and when we are living next door to a country that has no income tax, and very low corporate income tax it will be very hard to keep people and businesses here in Saskatchewan. That fact must be considered in your government's long-term planning for our economic security and maintenance of personal freedoms.
Thank you again for your hard work and dedication.
Sincerely,
